Hasnain Danish, the uncle of 18-year-old Pakistani Saman Abbas, has been extradited from France. This morning the flight from Charles De Gaulle airport in Paris left for Bologna.

The 34-year-old, considered the material perpetrator of the murder of the girl who disappeared in Novellara (Reggio Emilia) after opposing an arranged marriage by his family, was the recipient of a European arrest warrant for kidnapping, voluntary murder and concealment of body . He is accused in conjunction with four other family members of the murder of the 18-year-old, who disappeared on April 30 and never found again.

After the crime he fled to France, where he was arrested on 22 September after almost five months on the run thanks to investigations by the Reggio Emilia carabinieri, carried out internationally through the International Police Cooperation Service.

Arriving at the airport, he is handed over to the carabinieri and transferred to the Reggio Emilia prison, where the 34-year-old remains at the disposal of the judicial authority to be questioned and awaiting the hearing.

Danish has always pleaded innocent, but to nail him is the version of Saman's 16-year-old brother, who indicated his uncle as the main perpetrator of the murder, committed in agreement with the other family members who then managed to flee to their homeland.
