The baby who was thrown onto the tracks yesterday, shortly before 1pm, while in the pram, is in desperate conditions. According to the first investigations on the accident, which took place at the Pavia station, the freight train in transit on the tracks would have hooked the stroller while the parents waited for the convoy to return home, in Oltrepo, perhaps just beyond the yellow safety line.

The child was dragged for about twenty meters and then ended up on the tracks.

Immediate rescue, under the eyes of mom and dad in shock, with transport to San Matteo, Neonatology ward, where the son is hospitalized in intensive care and where doctors do everything to save his life.

The Railway Police is carrying out investigative investigations on the case.
