Roberto Baggio, terror during Spain-Italy: robbed, beaten and kidnapped at home with his family

At least five armed criminals broke into Roberto Baggio's home in Altavilla Vicentina yesterday evening , beating the former footballer and holding him and his entire family kidnapped for 40 minutes.
According to what transpires, Baggio tried to stop the criminals but one of them hit him on the forehead with the butt of a gun .
The former Ballon d'Or winner and his family were locked in a room, and thieves stole from the house. When the gang left the house, Baggio broke down the door and called the police.
The Carabinieri of the Vicenza Company went to the scene, alerted by Baggio himself.
The former footballer, a native of Caldogno (Vicenza), has been living on his agricultural estate for about 15 years, which is located on a hill overlooking Altavilla Vicentina. The villa is isolated and is in the center of a large plot of countryside and woods.
Roberto Baggio lives with his wife Andreina and his three children.
