Chiara Ferragni arrived at Milan's Palace of Justice for the second time in recent weeks for the hearing in the trial against her and two others, charged with aggravated fraud in connection with the alleged misleading advertising of Pandoro Pink Christmas and Easter eggs.

Today, Deputy Prosecutor Eugenio Fusco and Public Prosecutor Cristian Barilli will speak before Third Criminal Court Judge Ilio Mannucci Pacini, with their closing arguments requesting a conviction, while the influencer has always denied the charges and his lawyers, Giuseppe Iannaccone and Marcello Bana, are expected to speak at the next hearing.

The judge will first resolve the issue of the association "La casa del Consumo"'s request to be a civil plaintiff—the last remaining one, as the others have accepted settlement agreements. Then, the three defendants, including the entrepreneur's former collaborator, Fabio Damato, and Francesco Cannillo, president of Cerealitalia-ID, will request a summary trial, and then the prosecutors will begin their proceedings.

According to the defense, Ferragni, who entered the courtroom early this morning without being caught on camera, has not committed any crime, has already closed the administrative case, and has made donations totaling €3.4 million. According to the prosecutors, who coordinated the investigation by the Financial Police Unit of the Guardia di Finanza, between 2021 and 2022, she allegedly defrauded followers and consumers with alleged unfair profits—related to those sales of the two products, the price of which, however, did not include the advertised charity—to the tune of approximately €2.2 million.

Codacons, after reaching an agreement with Ferragni, withdrew its complaint. A hearing in the case has already been scheduled for December 19th, with sentencing expected in January.
