The bis trial against Innocent Oseghale, held responsible for the murder of 18-year-old Pamela Mastropietro , which took place in Macerata on 30 January 2018, has restarted before the Court of Assizes of Appeal of Perugia.

Also present at the hearing is the defendant, who was definitively sentenced to life imprisonment for the murder, while the Cassation has sent the documents to Perugia regarding the accusation of sexual violence, a dispute that for the Public Prosecutor's Office general "can be said to be certain".

The judges of Perugia decided to hear as witnesses two men with whom Pamela had had protected relationships after leaving the therapeutic community of Corridonia and before meeting Oseghale.

The girl's mother arrived in the courtroom with a "shock" T-shirt, on which images of part of Pamela's body appear . "You saw how they reduced it to me," Alessandra told reporters, showing the photo. Outside the Palace of Justice, friends of Pamela displayed banners asking for "justice".
