A woman's funeral turns into a fight with knives and sticks.

It happened in Parabita, in the province of Lecce, where two men - husbands of the deceased's daughters - got into a furious fight. The reason for the dispute? The funeral expenses, which neither of them wanted to pay, the latest in a series of disagreements that seem to exist between the two brothers-in-law. From "You pay - No, you!" they quickly moved on to physical violence, to the point that those present at the ceremony had to alert the police.

The local press reports that the Carabinieri arrived on the scene and were able to calm things down with difficulty.

It is not clear who will pay for the funeral bill. But both of the protagonists of the dispute - both 54 years old - have been reported.
