No vax outside restaurants, gyms, cinemas and stadiums: the restrictions would apply from the yellow zone onwards
Next week the government will enact a new decree: many innovations are being studied, from the duration of the Green pass to the obligation for some categories to restrictions for the unvaccinated

The pressure of the Regions is ultimately convincing the government. Governors fear new general closures as Christmas approaches, and are calling for a double track: the vaccinated cannot be subjected to the same restrictions as the unvaccinated.
For this reason, in the decree that the executive is preparing to pass next week, prohibitions for no vax are increasingly likely which, in the event, will be applied only from the yellow zone onwards. Limitations that would concern only the social life, leaving the job out.
Green pass only for vaccinated and cured (a "super Green pass" or the German "2G" model), but to be applied only for entry to clubs, restaurants, gyms and swimming pools, entertainment and cultural venues, stadiums. And not in the white zone. Instead, the current certificate would remain, which can also be obtained with a negative swab, to access the workplace.
This is the scheme the Draghi government is working on: on Monday the meeting with the Regions, on Thursday the control room, then the Council of Ministers. Salvini is ready to do battle, he has already stated several times that he is against restrictions for the unvaccinated, but the Northern League governors are the first to push this line.
The hypothesis of the obligation, not generalized, remains on the table: at the moment it could be extended to other categories such as school staff and the police. In the new decree there will also be the obligation of the third dose for healthcare personnel and RSAs.
Third dose that could be anticipated: no longer to six but to five months, as Gianni Rezza said yesterday (“It is conceivable, I exclude negative effects”) during the press conference to illustrate the weekly monitoring data.
The validity of the Green pass will certainly be reduced, given that it has now been established that the coverage of the vaccine begins to decline six months after the second dose. The certificate will no longer be valid for one year, but for nine months. And there are those who would like to bring it to six. An additional incentive to take the third dose.
Another node, the validity of the tampons. In the scientific world there are those who push to remove the antigenic from the procedures for obtaining the certificate. More likely a reduction in duration, which could go from 72 to 48 hours for the molecular, from 48 to 24 for the antigenic.
The goal is clear: to keep commercial activities, clubs, restaurants and places of sociality open during the Christmas holidays. And, in case some Region ends up in orange and is forced to close them, trigger the closure for the unvaccinated only.
THE DECLARATIONS - Undersecretary Costa denies: "To date there is no issue on the table of changing the criteria for obtaining the pass, the two decisions we should make next week will be the mandatory third dose for the categories for which it is provided for the obligation and the issue of reducing the validity of the certificate. But with the Regions there is maximum willingness to share a path ”.
But he adds that "it is obvious" that in the case of the orange zone "the vaccinated cannot be subjected to the same restrictions as the unvaccinated".
Minister Brunetta also talks about the Super Green pass: "Most likely it will arrive in December", he confirms, "it is not a punishment for the unvaccinated but a reward for the vaccinated".
"Strengthening the Green pass - he adds - is the choice that is making its way in the Draghi government".
