Chiara Poggi's parents and brother have filed their cases as "injured parties" in the new proceedings regarding the crime committed in August 2007, which began with the DNA test on Andrea Sempio .

This was announced by the lawyers of the family of the young woman killed in Garlasco, Gian Luigi Tizzoni and Francesco Compagna.

The constitution was made, it is explained, "in the belief that precise knowledge of all the evidentiary data that emerged in the trial that led to the definitive conviction of Alberto Stasi for the crime he committed on 13 August 2007 could prove decisive for a timely definition of Andrea Sempio's position".
