The Neapolitan boy arrested by police on charges of aggravated homicide for the death of Marco Pio Salomone, the 19-year-old killed in the early hours of Saturday, November 22, in the Arenaccia neighborhood of Naples, is only fifteen years old.

The minor is also suspected of carrying and illegally possessing a firearm, crimes that are in addition to the suspicion of murder.

The investigation, conducted by the Homicide Section of the Flying Squad, was initiated under the coordination of the Naples District Anti-Mafia Directorate and then transferred to the Juvenile Prosecutor's Office, which has jurisdiction given the age of the alleged perpetrator.

According to investigators' reconstruction, evidence gathered in the first hours after the crime led to the identification of the fifteen-year-old, who was subsequently arrested by officers. The investigation continues to clarify the motive and reconstruct the precise details of the attack that cost young Salomone his life.
