Milan: A 75-year-old man was struck and killed by a truck while crossing the street.
Rescue efforts were unsuccessful. Investigations are underway to reconstruct the accident's dynamics.

A man died after being hit by a truck in Milan this early afternoon. The accident occurred around 2:00 PM in Piazza Ovidio, at the intersection with Via Mecenate in the eastern part of the city.
According to initial reports, the 75-year-old man was crossing the road. Paramedics arrived on the scene with a medical car and an ambulance, but were only able to confirm his death, while firefighters worked to extract his body.
Law enforcement is currently investigating to reconstruct the dynamics of the accident.
