"The individual injured parties, together with Mediaset and Mfe-Mediaforeurope, have decided to file civil damages actions totaling €160 million against Fabrizio Corona and the companies associated with him, for reputational and financial damages." This is according to a statement from Mediaset.

And the "injured parties", according to what we learn, are Pier Silvio and Marina Berlusconi, Maria De Filippi, Silvia Toffanin, Gerry Scotti, Ilary Blasi, Samira Lui.

"What has been spread by the Falsissimo project and by Fabrizio Corona, through unprecedented verbal violence, constitutes a collection of lies, falsehoods, and insinuations," it reads. Any compensation received will be used "to create a fund to cover the costs of legal assistance for victims of stalking, crimes falling under the so-called Red Code, and all forms of cyberbullying."
