The quantity of drugs seized by the Turin Financial Police during a check in the Madonna di Campagna district amounts to 226 kilos. A 35-year-old of Moroccan origin - holder of a regular residence permit - was stopped while he was in a car in the name of one of his compatriots. Inside, in the cockpit and in the trunk, a conspicuous load that made the soldiers suspicious who decided to inspect it, finding in this way 6 bags of jute which were found to contain about 210 kg of hashish, 7 loaves containing 15 kg of the same substance and a pack with a kilo of marijuana.

The 226 kilograms of drugs, subjected to seizure, could have brought in over 2 million euros on the market.

The man, after being arrested in the act of committing a crime, was taken to the Turin prison.
