Maturity, the first written test for 536,000 students is underway: the total-tracks for the Italian theme

Leaving the high school exams tomorrow for over 500,000 students . It starts at 8.30 with the first text , that of Italian, common to all addresses.

We then continue on Thursday 22 June with the second test , which concerns the disciplines characterizing the individual study paths. Therefore, an interview is envisaged - the dates will be set by the individual institutes - which aims to ascertain the achievement of the educational, cultural and professional profile of each candidate.

The exam therefore returns to the traditional pre-Covid formula, with the exception of students residing in the municipalities of the flooded areas of Emilia-Romagna , where the exams will be replaced by an interdisciplinary interview.

Today at 8.30 the Ministry of Education published the key to open the envelope made available to the commissions.

There will be precisely 536,008 students involved in the tests (521,015 internal candidates and 14,993 external), while the commissions are 14,000 , for a total of 27,895 classes .

The final mark of the high school exam is expressed in hundredths : maximum 40 points for school credit; maximum 20 points for the first written; maximum 20 points for the written second; maximum 20 points for the interview.

The commission can award up to 5 "bonus" points for those who are entitled to them. The sum of all these points results in the final grade of the exam. The maximum score is 100 (with the possibility of honors). The minimum score to pass the exam is 60/100.

The Ministry of Education and Merit has created an information page on State Exams that can be consulted by students, families, school staff, with news, insights, questions and answers. It will be possible to follow all the updates during the days of the exam on the MIM social channels using the hashtags #Maturità2023 and #EsamiDiStato2023.

IL TOTO-TRACCE – In the meantime, the total traces for the Italian test are raging on the web.
