The search for the three people who are still missing after the "apocalyptic" flood that hit the Marche and in particular the area of Senigallia (Ancona) on the night between Thursday and last Friday continues unabated.
Among them Mattia, 8 years old, son of a woman of Sardinian origin - Silvia Mereu - whose baby was snatched by the fury of water and mud of a torrent in flood, in the area between Castelleone di Suasa and Arcevia.
Law enforcement and civil protection forces are in action, with teams also coming from Lombardy, Friuli Venezia Giulia, Emilia Romagna and Abruzzo.
