The Rome preliminary hearing judge has sent the businesswoman to trial Mary Rosaria Boccia is accused of aggravated stalking, assault, and unlawful interference in the private life of former Minister of Culture Gennaro Sangiuliano . She is also charged with defamation and making false statements in her CV in relation to the organization of certain events. The trial is scheduled to begin on October 6th.

Sangiuliano himself, his wife, and the former Chief of Staff of the Ministry of Culture, Francesco Gilioli, are civil parties in the proceedings.
