The protests for the return to school multiply. Between mayors and governors (De Luca) who decide to keep them closed, the students are also brought in. This morning the Manzoni classical high school in Milan was occupied, where the students had returned last Friday.

On the day of returning to class in most of Italy, Minister Patrizio Bianchi speaks to Radio 1: "The choice to bring all the students back to the classroom is motivated by the evidence that the prolonged and widespread use of distance learning causes problems for life of a community ”, he explains.

There is "a sufficiently flexible provision that on the one hand establishes the principle of 'everyone at school', on the other hand, where there are problems, gives the possibility to resort to distance", observes the minister.

Which recalls the actions implemented by the government: "We have introduced for high school children where we are already very advanced with vaccinations (we are 85% in the first dose and 75% in the second) the possibility of having free tampons, supported by 92 million given by Commissioner Figliuolo, in pharmacies. We have greatly lightened the work of the Local Health Authorities. The participation of everyone, children and families is needed ”.
