Magnitude 2.6 earthquake strikes the Strait of Messina, with its epicenter at sea.

An earthquake of magnitude 2.6 was recorded this morning, at approximately 6:31, by the INGV, in the Strait of Messina area.

According to initial data from the Seismic Room of the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology in Rome, the epicenter was at a depth of approximately 11 kilometers .
