The owner of a residence in Cinisi (Palermo) is in custody , who yesterday during a dispute with two customers exploded gunshots, injuring a man and his son.

In the story told to prosecutor Enrico Bologna, 76-year-old Vincenzo Cusumano explained that he was attacked by the two tenants who had been spending their holidays in the structure for four years.

"This year - he explained - problems arose with the consumption of electricity. The other guests of the residence disputed the costs of the bills , high for the nine families and low for father and son. Questions arose as to why in the house rented to the two injured, consumption was so low ".

During the quarrel, the father allegedly said he did not intend to pay the rent by rejecting the energy charges, then he would punch Cusumano. "I was afraid and I defended myself - added the 76-year-old - They punched me in the face ". Cusumano then pulled out one of the two legally held guns and fired. The blows reached the father in the abdomen and the son in the groin, then he left the residence. The carabinieri tracked him down at the motorway junction while the two injured were rescued and hospitalized, but they would not be in danger of life. Only for the father is the prognosis reserved.
