The investigations against Mustafà Minte Lamin, the 32-year-old Gambian accused of having sold the fatal drug dose to the actor Libero De Rienzo, are closed.

According to the toxicological results, the 45-year-old Neapolitan actor, found dead in his home in Rome on July 15, died of a heroin overdose. He had also taken cocaine and anxiolytics, but those would not have been the cause of death.

Against the suspect, arrested on 28 July in the act of crime while he was intent on selling drugs in the Torre Angela area, in Rome, the charges are of death as a consequence of another crime, possession and transfer of narcotic substances.

In the act of closing the investigation, prosecutor Francesco Minisci writes that the death "is attributable to cardiorespiratory arrest due to acute heroin poisoning". On the basis of what was reconstructed by the carabinieri, the pusher would also have sold heroin to five other people.
