A Sardinian magistrate has been appointed chief of staff at the Ministry of Justice to replace Giusi Bartolozzi , who resigned amid controversy following the No vote's victory in the referendum on justice reform.

This is Antonio Mura , born in Sassari. Born in 1954, Mura has until now been head of the legislative office of the same ministry . Previously, he served as Attorney General of the Republic at the Court of Appeal of Rome , Attorney General of the Republic at the Court of Appeal of Venice, Deputy Attorney General at the Court of Cassation, and a member of the Superior Council of the Judiciary. His CV also includes experience at the courts of Florence and Livorno.

Mura, nephew of the lawyer Dino Milia, was a player for Dinamo Sassari in the 1970s.
