It warms up near the stove but the clothes catch fire: the 85-year-old dies charred
The woman lived alone in the house, alerting the neighbors when it was too late
An 85-year-old woman died in the fire that broke out inside her home .
It happened yesterday evening in Manfredonia , in the Foggia area .
As far as we know, the fire would have started from a stove used by the woman to warm up : in a few moments the flames enveloped the clothes of the victim, who lived alone in the house.
It was some neighbors who alerted the firefighters who, with great effort, put out the fire and made the area safe .
The 118 staff were also on the spot who could not help but ascertain the death of the 85-year-old .
