A portal on the "clear web," easily accessible through search engines, containing thousands of audio-video recordings illegally stolen from over 2,000 surveillance cameras inside homes, beauty salons, and medical practices was discovered by Treviso-based Yarix, the cybersecurity expertise center of the Var Group company, which reported it to the Postal Police.

Active since at least December 2024, the portal allows you to view short excerpts of the recordings for free, also offering the option to purchase access to the camera for additional content or to gain control over it.

The price for each ranges from about $20 to $575, depending on the “popularity” of the content.
