A hunting trip ended in tragedy in San Vincenzo, in the province of Livorno.
A 75-year-old hunter was found lifeless in the countryside, after a companion who had left with him and had lost sight of him was reported.
The man's body was found in a ditch: it appears to have been an accidental death following a fall.
According to an initial reconstruction, the 75-year-old slipped disastrously on the wet stones of the ditch, hitting his head.
The Carabinieri of Donoratico and Castagneto intervened on site to carry out investigations.
