The four young people who were on board the stolen car that yesterday hit and killed seventy-one-year-old Cecilia De Astis , who was walking on Via Saponaro in Milan's Gratosoglio neighborhood, were stopped by Milan's local police officers.

The four fled on foot. They are three boys and a girl, all under the age of 14. They were found in a Roma camp and had no documents with them. The car was stolen from a French man.

Identification and searches are currently underway . Witnesses reported to local police officers that they saw at least two of the children flee toward a nearby Roma camp after the crash.
