He was paralyzed in an accident, hit and killed on a crossing while crossing in a wheelchair

In the summer of 1982 he was twenty years old when he was involved in a car accident. His three friends were unharmed, he remained paralysed: legs completely gone, arms almost gone, he retained some control of his wrist which was used to maneuver the electric wheelchair.

Guido Chinello, 62 years old from Ponte San Nicolò (Padua), then founded the Amici del Mondo association, which took care of disabled people. And fate tragically returned to present him with the bill.

Four days ago he was hit while he was crossing the crossing in his wheelchair and today he died in hospital after a long agony. The injuries sustained were too serious. Chinello, who was revived for 40 minutes after the terrible impact, was taken to hospital in Padua in desperate conditions. Unfortunately for him there was nothing that could be done.

Chinello had done everything to continue cultivating his passions: painting first and foremost, he painted with his mouth.
