“ I killed my father. And now I'm killing myself .'

A shocking phone call received at 3 last night from the Carabinieri of Livorno.

A 24-year-old boy stabbed his father to death , then fled on foot and tried to kill himself.

The soldiers, once they entered the house in the Coteto district of the Tuscan city, found the body of the sixty-year-old on the bed. The man was killed with at least one stab wound to the throat .

So the search for the young man began, found shortly after sitting on a park bench in via Torino. The boy was injured and in shock, he was arrested on suspicion of murder and taken to the hospital, where he is being guarded .

The motive for the crime has yet to be ascertained.
