To take a photo he fell during an excursion on the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines.

The victim is Andrea Cimbali, a 29-year-old boy. The tragedy took place on the Via dei Balzi dell'Ora, in the Corno alle Scale area, in the Bolognese area.

Two Alpine Rescue teams and a 118 helicopter intervened on the site.

The Via dei Balzi dell'Ora - made up of a series of large boulders that make up a part of the ridge of the Corno alle Scale - is a route classified "EE", for expert hikers,

you can read on the site of the district. The summit is at 1,945 meters.

The young man leaned over to take a photo and fell, the friend who was with him told him who raised the alarm at 118. The two, both resident in Imola, had left this morning in order to climb to the top to the mountain on the CAI path 337.

They had already come a long way when, at an altitude of 1,850 meters, Andrea leaned over to take a picture and lost his balance, falling down. Immediately, at 1.30 pm, the friend's alarm went off, but the rescuers who found the boy unconscious and without a pulse were able to do nothing, despite the futile attempts at resuscitation.

So, when the doctor confirmed the death of the young man, the body was recovered with the winch.
