He strangles his wife in bed, the children show the body to their aunt in a video call: "He killed mom"

At the height of an argument at home , he strangled his 24-year-old wife in the marital bed, killing her, in front of their two young children, aged 4 and 6 .

Yet another femicide took place this morning at dawn, around 5am, in San Felice a Cancello, in the Caserta area .

The perpetrator of the crime is a thirty-year-old Albanian, Lulzim Toci, who was stopped by the Carabinieri. His wife was a fellow countryman, Eleonor Toci.

He was a farm laborer, she didn't work. After the crime, the man went to his sister-in-law, asking her to take him to the hospital, but she didn't believe him and called her nephews. In a video call, the children showed her their mother's body on the bed, telling her: "Dad killed Mom."

At that point the woman immediately called 112, reporting the femicide. When the carabinieri arrived on the scene, the 30-year-old was wandering near the house, in via Caravaggio.
