Murder yesterday evening in Ornavasso, a municipality in Bassa Ossola in Verbano-Cusio-Ossola: the victim is a 34-year-old boy, Nicolò Borghini, killed by his father, 63-year-old Edoardo Borghini, at the height of an argument. The weapon used is a rifle, legally owned by the parent.

The two lived together in a small house on Via della Conciliazione where, at the time of the murder, the boy's mother was also present. The father was arrested and questioned by the Carabinieri until late at night.

The weapon used in the murder was seized by the military, along with four other rifles, all legally held by the father, and the house was placed under seizure. Today the Carabinieri will carry out further inspections to carry out the necessary technical surveys.

According to initial findings from investigators, the victim had a criminal record.

Edoardo Borghini, questioned at the barracks, admitted the murder but denied the initial hypothesis that his son Nicolò had drug problems.
