According to the latest investigations, the young Venetian woman was killed in the industrial area of Fossò (Venice) at 11.40pm on 11 November"I just wanted it for myself." This is the "explanation" that Filippo Turetta, the 22-year-old arrested for the murder of his ex-girlfriend, Giulia Cecchettin , allegedly gave to investigators.
The young man, in his last interrogation, admitted his responsibilities and told the investigators that he had acted because "something went off in my head".
