Fetuses and human remains abandoned in industrial barrels, shock discovery

Fetuses and human remains inside dozens of yellow drums were found in a shed in the industrial area of Granarolo, in the province of Bologna, labeled with the special biological waste symbol.

The mobile squad arrived on the spot, called by a guy who takes care of recovering old iron and various materials in the companies in the area and who saw those containers.

Investigators began investigations and the area was seized. The Forensics also intervened.

The remains, according to local press reports, are immersed in a liquid that could be formaldehyde or another substance for the medical preservation of the bodies. The suspicion is that it is illegal disposal by some hospital or clinic.
