Fedez backtracked , perhaps realizing he had "touched" a figure much more popular than him and sprinkled his head with ashes, apologizing to Jannik Sinner after the controversy over the new song, partly previewed on Instagram, in which he says that "Italians have a new idol, his name is Jannik Sinner, a pure Italian with the accent of Adolf Hitler."

Last night, during his concert at the Assago Forum, the rapper apologized: "I wrote a new song, 'Tutto al contrario,' but there was a huge uproar," he explained. "I take full responsibility. I wanted to prepare something in writing, but it's better to discuss it directly with you. It's a song where I wanted to exaggerate various concepts, for example, comparing athletes who aren't considered Italian to the most famous Italian athlete in the world. I couldn't explain myself; the only thing I can do is apologize. I wanted to create a paradox, but it turned out terribly ."

That reference to the South Tyrolean champion had led an FdI city councilor in Bolzano to report Fedez under Article 604-bis of the penal code, which punishes propaganda and incitement to racial hatred.
