The Court of Appeal of L'Aquila rejected the lawyers' appeal against the order of the Juvenile Court of L'Aquila that suspended Nathan and Catherine's parental responsibility and ordered their three minor children to be placed in a foster home in Vasto.
The mother, however, is also here and can spend time with the children at certain times of the day. For the "family in the woods," the situation remains as established by the ordinance that led to the children's transfer from Palmoli to Vasto on November 20th, now a month ago.
No Christmas at the Palmoli home on loan: Nathan, if the court allows, will still spend the holidays in the protected facility.
"For these judges, one word: SHAME. Children are not property of the state; children should be able to live and grow up with the love of their mothers and fathers!" commented League Secretary and Deputy Prime Minister Matteo Salvini.
