Adamo Guerra will be tried in Ravenna, the man who in 2013, faking suicide, disappeared from Lugo where his ex-wife and two daughters reside and now lives in Patras, Greece.

The case is about to lead to a trial before the Court: the 57-year-old will have to answer for violation of family care obligations , for having abandoned his home, avoiding the duties inherent to parental responsibility and the role of spouse, causing his wife to lack the means Raffaella Borghi and her two daughters. The summons to trial by the Ravenna Public Prosecutor's Office is the consequence of the file arising from the complaint that Borghi made to the Imola Carabinieri in September 2016.

The first hearing was set for September 2019: but the trial was suspended because the accused was declared unavailable until, as part of the civil proceedings initiated by the woman for the divorce, he made a request to the Aire in February 2022. (Italian registry office residing abroad) to be an Italian citizen resident in Greece.

Following the scheduling of the criminal hearing notified in April, last Tuesday there was a hearing before the single judge Antonella Guidomei, who, due to an incompatibility linked to a formal question of the man's previous court-appointed lawyer, postponed all in January in what will therefore be the first hearing of the trial : his wife and daughters, who were present, expressed their intention to join the civil action.

The case, which ended up on "Who has seen it", has had a further development in the last few hours: apparently since at least 2016 Raffaella Borghi had been aware of the fact that the man was not dead but was in Greece.
