He confessed to his mother's murder on live television. Lorenzo Carbone, 50, was intercepted outside his home in Spezzano di Fiorano (Modena) by the journalist of Pomeriggio 5 Fabio Giuffrida.

The man, in tears, admitted to strangling his mother. " I couldn't take it anymore, I couldn't handle her. I don't know why I did it," he said. The journalist called the police and Carbone was arrested.

"Every now and then he made me a little angry," she continued, "because he always repeated things."

Carbone was wanted: the firefighters had been searching for hours, even with the use of drones, to find the son of Loretta Levrini, found dead yesterday afternoon, in bed, with a noose around her neck. It was her daughter, who had gone to visit her yesterday afternoon, who made the horrible discovery.
