Eight-year-old boy hit and killed by tractor driven by his father

An eight-year-old boy died after being hit by a tractor in the private car park in a countryside area between Porotto and Vigarano Mainarda, just outside Ferrara .

It happened shortly after 7pm. The little boy died during transport to hospital due to his injuries.

The father was driving the vehicle . According to an initial reconstruction, the man was maneuvering the tractor in a private car park to let his other son pass on his scooter, but he did not notice the presence of the youngest and ran him over.

The police are trying to reconstruct the circumstances in which the events occurred.
