"I've always known that some of my battles and complaints I could have paid dearly, this time they cost me 21 days of prognosis and it could have been even worse if a taxi driver hadn't promptly intervened, whom I thank from the bottom of my heart".

This is how Francesco Emilio Borrelli , regional councilor of Campania recounts the accident that I saw the victim on Friday evening in Naples.

Borrelli, very active on social media in denouncing malpractices, disservices and cases of delinquency, in his region and beyond, was overwhelmed by a motorcycle driven - as he himself reported - by a person wearing a full-face helmet.

His last "uncomfortable" battle - recalls the councilor - was the one against the illegal occupations by the Camorra clans.

The police have been informed of the incident and the anti-mafia is investigating.
