Fedez is suing Codacons for slander and defamation, which with a complaint had asked the Financial Police to verify the companies that manage the rapper's artistic activities . The news was reported today by Corriere della Sera.

«For some time - write the artist's lawyers - Codacons has undertaken an almost daily media and judicial campaign against Fedez for alleged reprehensible, if not criminally relevant, behaviour. All the complaints made - they add - proved to be unfounded and instrumental only to attack him unfairly".

Codacons had spoken of the corporate activity of the rapper and his family and of "a five-year period" in which "numerous extraordinary operations have taken place which have led the group to take on ever-changing structures", and therefore of the "choice to activate institutions such as reverse mergers and asymmetric non-proportional splits" which "highlights mastery with refined and highly complex consultancy systems that go beyond a simple economic or development need".

That of the consumer association, however, the rapper's lawyers replied, is «a partial reconstruction of the facts and untruthful as well as capable of instilling in the average reader, due to the expressions used, albeit in hypothetical form, the (false) belief that behind legitimate corporate operations" are "hidden illicit conduct" evoking "elusive, insinuating scenarios, with indefinite and disturbing contours from which even the impression of dark forces at work emerges for no one knows what arcane and hidden reasons".

In the complaint filed in Milan on behalf of Fedez and the artist's mother and father, sole directors of as many companies through which the proceeds of the artist's activity also pass, the lawyers write that there was "serious conduct defamatory" by Codacons which reported "untruthful facts" accusing the singer "of being inclined to commit crimes", in the face of a scenario from which it clearly emerges that the companies' operations had only the aim of "greater effectiveness and efficiency" and savings in management costs.
