According to the information acquired by the Commission, the events leading to David Rossi's death involved, in different roles, Giuseppe Mussari (former president of Monte dei Paschi di Siena), as the instigator of an act of intimidation that was not initially intended to lead to Rossi's death, and Gabriele Ceccherelli, as the individual who organized and selected the individuals, currently unidentified, to be involved in the execution phase, while remaining outside Palazzo Salimbeni himself.

This was stated by Gianluca Vinci, president of the Parliamentary Commission of Inquiry into the death of David Rossi – head of communications at MPS, who died in 2013 – during today's meeting of the Presidency Office.

"The Bureau has had the opportunity to evaluate information acquired by the Commission's consultants during several interviews with detainees," Vinci said.

After the revelation, Gabriele Ceccherelli, a former player for Calcio Storico Fiorentino, declared: "I know nothing, I don't know anyone about this affair. The only time I've been to Siena was to buy a pair of shoes, I have nothing to do with this affair."
