Tragic accident yesterday evening on the Andria-Bisceglie , in Puglia , near Trani . Two women, mother and daughter, died in the crash. The young woman was in her seventh month of pregnancy . For them and for the child, despite the rush to the hospital, there was nothing that could be done.

According to the reconstruction, the car in which they were traveling collided with a small car and went off the road, overturning. The two women, Rosa Mastrototaro and Margherita Di Liddo, were from Bisceglie and were 62 and 32 years old . Both were rescued by 118 personnel and transported to the hospital where they died due to their injuries. In the car with them there was also the husband of the 32-year-old, now hospitalized with a fractured femur.

The young woman arrived dead at the hospital in Andria where they tried to save the fetus but there was nothing to be done. Her mother was transported to the hospital in Barletta but died in the emergency room.
