The 46 foreign ministers of the Council of Europe have already arrived in Turin and will be tomorrow at the Reggia di Venaria for the final event of the semester of Italian presidency and the handover to Ireland.

Two days to reaffirm the unity of the States towards the values of the Council itself, namely peace, democracy, the rule of law and fundamental rights, cooperation.

The Mole Antonelliana will be illuminated with the colors of the international organization.

Today the ministers went to Palazzo Carignano, where they visited the Museum of the Risorgimento with the original hall of the Chamber of Deputies of the Subalpine Parliament from 1848, the one in which Cavour, Garibaldi, Cesare Balbo and hundreds of other patriots laid the foundations of democracy and the "construction site" of Italy started. Mauro Caliendo, president of the Museum, welcomed them, together with the director, Ferruccio Martinotti. Then the stop at the Prefecture and at Palazzo Madama, another symbol of Piedmont. Tomorrow the ministers will move to the Reggia di Venaria.
