Cospito returns to prison, transferred back to Opera

Alfredo Cospito was transferred back to the Opera prison, to the Integrated Assistance Service.
The anarchist, who has been on hunger strike for four months to protest against the 41 bis, had been hospitalized in the San Paolo hospital in Milan for several days due to his health conditions . This was announced by sources in the Ministry of Justice. According to the dicastery, "in the Sai of the prison of Opera, maximum attention will continue to be paid to his health conditions".
In recent days Cospito had appeared "severely undernourished" , according to the statements of the medical consultant Andrea Crosignani to the prisoner's defender, "the situation is still holding but it could worsen day by day in light of the suspension of supplements".
On 24 February, the Cassation rejected the anarchist's appeal for the revocation of the harsh prison sentence. Following the decision, the inmate renewed his intention to continue the hunger strike, stating that this time it is his intention to go to the end and die "early".
