"I have consciously chosen not to vote for ideological and harmful referendums that have not even mobilized the voters of the left. The result on citizenship is sensational, imagining shortcuts is wrong. For this reason I do not understand why Forza Italia insists".
This was stated by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Infrastructure Matteo Salvini, leader of the League, in an interview with Corriere della Sera.
On the referendums, Salvini says, "the left has transformed them into an attempt to push the government, they proposed questions to cancel the labor reforms that they had approved. With the Cgil that signed contracts of 5 euros per hour and now evokes social revolt."
