Tragedy in the night on the A4 motorway in Milan.
A car was rear-ended by another vehicle at the toll booth and both women on board died.
The episode took place at 2.30 at the Milan-Ghisolfa barrier, in the direction of Turin.
The victims were 60 and 54 years old. Their car was rear-ended violently by a vehicle arriving in the same direction.
The driver of the second vehicle was injured in a minor way and was taken to hospital in yellow code. Nothing to do instead for the two women: the rescuers, once they extracted them from the plates with the help of the firefighters, could only ascertain their death.
The traffic police of Milan took care of the investigations on the dynamics of the accident.
