Bimbo drowns, blocked the mother who wanted to commit suicide

The contours of the tragedy that took place last night in Torre del Greco, in the province of Naples, where a child drowned in the Scala area, are to be ascertained.

From a first reconstruction, the two and a half year old baby was noticed in the water by some people who had blocked a woman, who later turned out to be the mother, who threatened to take her own life. Someone jumped into the sea to retrieve the child and bring him back to shore but any rescue proved useless.

The carabinieri are investigating the matter.
