Silvio Berlusconi will not be able to participate in the conclave of the European People's Party in Rome.

He will not do it personally, at least, but only in video, as announced by the vice president of Forza Italia and president of the PPE Antonio Tajani: "The doctors advised him not to come, not to move, so there will only be a video contact, but he already spoken with Manfred Weber, president of our group ".

At the meeting "there will be two days of debates, and a third with which we will confront the Catholic world. We will tackle big issues" and "the main objective is work", he added.

THE RUBY TER CASE - Recently the president of Forza Italia asked, again for health reasons, for a postponement of the Ruby Ter trial , in which he is accused along with 27 other people on charges of corruption in judicial documents and perjury.

The college had thus ordered the investigations, including psychiatric ones, unleashing the wrath of the former premier: "My history and my integrity are harmed", he said, asking that the trial continue in his absence and therefore in fact renouncing the last legitimate impediment for health reasons.

The appraisal was therefore canceled, with the trial that will restart on 6 October in Milan.
