Bari, car hits 76-year-old woman in serious condition

A 76-year-old woman was hit by a car this morning while crossing Via Giulio Petroni in Bari.

The driver stopped to provide first aid. The victim, who suffered multiple injuries, was unconscious when emergency medical personnel arrived and classified as a red code. He was taken to the emergency room at Di Venere Hospital in Bari, where he went into cardiac arrest.

The intervention of an emergency medical technician was necessary, and the elderly woman recovered, though she remained unconscious. Local police officers are investigating the incident and have completed their investigation.
