Alex Manna, the 19-year-old arrested for the murder of Zoe Trinchero, confesses.

The 17-year-old girl was found dead in a stream in Nizza Monferrato (Asti). According to initial investigations, Manna killed her after she refused him. The two were not romantically involved, and when she rejected his advances, she reacted violently. The girl's body showed widespread beatings, injuries to her neck, facial swelling, and wounds consistent with an attempt to defend herself.

Her body was found near a gas station by a resident and then friends who were searching for her along the road from Nice to the town of Incisa. Firefighters and law enforcement officers responded to the scene.

The Alessandria prosecutor's office is coordinating the investigation.
