New developments in the murder of Federica Torzullo have emerged regarding Claudio Carlomagno , her husband, who is under investigation for murder and concealment of a body. He has decided not to answer questions from prosecutor Alberto Liguori and the prosecutor in charge of the investigation.

Investigators, who are trying to reconstruct the woman's last hours, have described it as a crime of "particular ferocity." They are also trying to understand the murder process and the weapon used, which will be revealed after Tuesday afternoon's autopsy.

The man was arrested by the Carabinieri on charges of voluntary homicide after Torzullo's body was found buried in a reed bed behind his business .
