After nine months on the run, the 35-year-old Pakistani Nomanhulaq Nomanhulaq, cousin of Saman Abbas and investigated for kidnapping, voluntary murder and concealment of the corpse of the young woman who disappeared on 30, arrived at Bologna airport, where he was handed over to the Italian authorities. last April from Novellara, in the province of Reggio Emilia.
Recipient of a European arrest warrant issued by the Emilian magistrates, the man was tracked down and arrested in Barcelona on February 14th following an activity by the Reggio Emilia Carabinieri Investigation Unit, supported by the International Police Cooperation Service (SCIP) of the Department of Public Security.
After the approval of his extradition given by the Spanish court of justice, today he was accompanied by the Catalan police forces to the international airport.
Once he landed, the carabinieri of the Reggio Emilia investigative unit took him over to accompany him to the Reggio prison, where, on Friday, he will be questioned by the prosecutor.
In France, the girl's uncle, Danish Hasnahin, and her cousin Ikram Ijaz, both already handed over to the Italian authorities, have already been arrested. Only the last two suspects remain fugitives in Pakistan: the 18-year-old's parents.
